Wow. Be careful of filling your gallery with frivolous photographs. The two you submitted after this - which I saw first - tempted me to delete this without even looking, but I looked regardless and I'm happy to say I did. If you are capable of creating art, don't submit 'junk' amongst it. It'll turn viewers away from your art. You, with this piece, have shown that you can take beautiful shots, with meaning and good composition. Don't disprove it by submitting snapshots of friends, unless they're fun scraps or something.

as it goes for this piece, i love it. i really do. but I'd probably want a larger aperture to get everything in focus.

i don't really know anything about cameras. i just have a little point-and-shoot. i make do with what i have.

well, for someone who doesn't know much about cameras, you definitely did great with this one. =] i guess you have a digital camera, then? usually if you press down half way, it'll refocus the image. with this one, you want everything to be in focus so your viewer can get all the information in it!
